Increasing demand for alternative sources of capital

The central European real estate markets, and the German market in particular, continue to grow with further growth expected in coming years.

Both commercial real estate transaction volume and demand for residential are on the rise in most German regions.

Because of tightening regulatory requirements at banks and the additional workload this entails, we have seen an increase in demand among real estate companies and property developers for alternative sources of capital.

We will also see a rise in demand for debt refinancing and rescheduling if price corrections materialize and activity on the real estate market slows. This will in turn trigger additional demand for financing.
